Hello everyone,

Following last week's announcements, which led to thousands of concerned people coming out for marches yesterday across France (I was at the Paris one) I'm organising an emergency touch base Zoom meeting for anyone interested on Tuesday 20th July at 6pm.

On yesterday's march, which was peaceful and very good humoured, I found myself among a wide range of people, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, people of all ages and ethnicities, from a wide range of professions, including health professionals, and from right across the political spectrum. We had all left our 'labels' at home and there were no signs of belonging to any political or other movement. It was respectful, people smiled at each other, we danced and sang and chanted. The police were present though not at all aggressive and several groups of police actually applauded us as we passed!

If people were out marching it was because there had been a huge collective realisation of the implications of the measures Macron was planning to implement. People were shocked and revolted to their core and felt the need to express that and to 'do something', as I did myself.

So here is an opportunity to voice your concerns and to get clearer information about the situation, either as an English trainer or coach working in France or just as an individual living in France in these strange times.
